it says connecting to xx.xx.xx.xx on port 6121 in map server.sql then after 2-3 secs it fails with the error code 10060 the model no of my router is ZyXEL P-660HN-T1A even after the port forwarding i do on my router it still fails let me show you how i did the port forwarding

this is how i did it the server ip addresses entered are my machine ipv4 address

I advice you not to port forward SQL's port UNLESS you know exactly what you are doing.

why to not port forward sql the sharpino guide had all the same port forwards done if you say to remove it i will

Char-Map-Login servers will let those outside your network to connect and same goes to your SQL server. You don't need to forward SQL's port since both SQL and game servers reside on the same machine UNLESS you want access to it whenever you're away from your machine. It is only advisable to forward SQL port when you're using VPS or Dedicated Server.

i cant gain access to 6121 port of char server it dosnt connect with the error code of 10060 i did the forwarding because sharpino mentioned in his video

after removing the mysql port forward from my router i dont have 3306 opened anymore but why cant i open any of 5121 6121 and 6900 port

have you tried online port checker? Try asking someone, from this forum, who's a PLDT subscriber and successfully done port forwarding.

As for Globe users, i'm pretty sure port forwarding works.

yea thats what i use for port checking who shall i ask and what is PLDT i am using airtel broadband connection

cause of your router, you and the PLDT(ISP) users from Phil use the same router. So they probably know more.

where can i find PLDT users from phil here

If you have port forward it, and using a dynamically assigned IP address, use No-IP.

No-ip.org

install the DUC (Dynamic Update Client) as well and it should work.

You may need to call your ISP too, requesting an opening in these ports: 80, 6121,5121,6900.

the port forward dosnt work on dynamic ipi called them to open those three ports they told me that it requires static ip but 80 can be opened

well then maybe you will consider on changing ISP or hosting the server on a VPS.

im using the same brand of router modem, its look like this modem hav a lil bit problem to open port.

im trying to google it but seems like there is no correct answer.
