Tumass Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) So i've had alot of issues trying to set up my test server in my desperation to wanting to learn scripting. I main issue i had before my current one is that i accidently openned a bat file with notepad with the always use this program check on. After some messing around with registry edit i fixed that and it works fine now. My current issue is that whenever i try to import main.SQL or any SQL into HeidiSQL it tries to configure the SQL file somehow with registry editor? I've tried reinstalling windows fully and that didn't fix anything. Hope any of you has a solution to my problem. Edited December 10, 2012 by Tumass Quote
Winz Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 maybe you would like to try MySQL. most of us using it by the way.. BTW, that's weird if the HeidiSQL tries to configure the SQL file with Registry Editor.. there should be nothing to do with Registry Editor (For file association, yes, it has) Quote
