Converting from eAthena!

Can someone tell me the steps for this ?

Also is there a setting to totally disable the renewal stuff, i don't mind the mobs, items, maps, NPC's i just don't want to use the 3rd jobs (just wont add them to job changer and disable the QUEST NPC's) but i mean like the stats, drops, skills, item effects etc i want all pre-renewal.

Well, it's quite simple to convert

1) backup your database

2) look for backup script

3) edit backup file, you should find "level" in the definition of create table for `login`, change all "level" in the `login` table create/insert for "group_id"

4) create a new database

5) run rAthena's "main.sql"

6) run your backup script (the one you edited)

you should then be set to go and start using rAthena.

As for the settings, there's one in the source at https://rathena.svn....onfig/renewal.h

just comment anything you don't want.

That should be it.

If you are migrating from the latest eathena, start to import from upgrade_svn15531_db.sql

Hmm... forgot there was the upgrade SQL files.

Easier and faster than the steps I used.

Thanks guys, that all sorted but now im having an issue with my custom maps.

Its not letting me warp to them and this is the info from putty.

[Error]: buildin_warp: moving player 'Panny' to "coliseum",0,0 failed.

I have added my maps to the map_index.txt in the db folder and also the maps_athena.conf in the conf folder.

Any suggestions?

Doesn't it read from map_cache.dat anymore? i have a custom Prontera City that's not letting me walk in certain places , normally i just update the map_cache.dat file and it works fine.
