GM Takumirai Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) - is there a possibility that rAthena can host a Private Ragnarok Competition [PRC] - same as RWC rules. - Registration Fee. (if they want to join they need to pay a registration fee and it must be affordable to all) - There will be a prize also. -limited slot only (to avoid over flow of team) - 7 player representative of each private server that exist. + 1 player to standby incase if the other teammates cant play - Some of the registration fee that will get will help the rAthena board. - Battle between Private Servers [private servers must be existing]. * just thinking of it not intended to do harm or anything *if the idea is great vote this up .. Pallas A Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Ótima ideia!!! imagina os brasileiros rs,mas não seremos iguais os da equipe rwc 2012 tsc, tsc, efim, tomara que de certo!
GM Takumirai Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 Suggestion: if theres a winner rAthena can put there banner in the page. also rAthena will give a tittle to the owner only of the private server who join.. like the tittle of donator
Linkin Park Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 This kind of event was hosted before by RMS I think and there's a discussion on RMS before about having a new one, though it was really an old discussion.
Brian Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 rAthena develops the emulator. Hosting an inter-server RO competition isn't really part of our mission. But I suppose if enough staff want to do it, anything is possible.
Arcenciel Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 If I recall correctly, RMS hosted something like this at one point. Not sure how well that went but it has been done before.
Mystery Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I think it'll require more staff to run it than the amount of staff we currently have.. especially since most of our staff are really focusing on the development of the emulator and running the forum. Hosting something like this will kinda delay any updates done to the emulator =/ 2
