Skill Error

I didnt know where to post this, But im having a error with skills. I cant put skill points to a skill and when i do allskills.. Only too skills are enabled. Anyone know how i can fix my problem? is it a server file? Client error? cause im very clueless about this+ and with out this my server is nothing_ Please help me

I'm not much of a client guy, but it seems to be an incompatible version between client/server.

Post what version of hexed you're using, and the packet_db.txt configuration as well packet ver from common/mmo.h

& i think im using 2011-11-16aRagexeRE if im not mistaken

Cause thats the only client that actually logged in with out exiting out and lets me view npcs

to

#define PACKETVER 20111116

then recompile.

About packet_db.txt I don't think you are using rathena's packet_db.txt, if you are using rathena emulator then better use rathena packet_db.txt

Yeah, you should use:

packet_ver: 28

in packet_db.txt

and change the packetver like dastgir wrote.

im running eAthena Emulator for now.. since my host doesnt support rAthena

Its not about host supporting, you can just install rathena emulator on your own

rAthena just needs 1GB ram for VPS i think,

Alright i took your advice and used 2010-11-24a (packet_ver:28) and it works ok shows npcs not laggy_ But i cannot type and alt commads do not show up. So i cant find out if the skills even work with that client

make sure the client you used is compatible with the lua files that you have..

How do i check is the lua_files are compatible with the client?
