checkweight() will return 1 if the total weight of a specified number of specific items does not exceed the invoking character's carrying capacity. It also checks that the player has room in their inventory for the item(s) they will be receiving.

If you only want to check if their inventory is full but ignore their

total weight, use checkweight() with an item that has 0 weight.

// Clothing_Dye_Coupon has weight 0
if (checkweight(6046,1) == 0) {
mes "Your inventory is full.";
} else {
mes "You have at least 1 free inventory space.";
}
