Hello there,

currently i have monthly paid webhost that include mysql & phpmyadmin.. I already setup the username, password and database..

Usually, its work everytime i install apps like forum, blog and etc.. But my problem is when i setup into rAthena, i got error said access denied for user"mysqluser@myip(not SQL IP)" <using password yes>

Why does its display my current ip not the mysql server IP?

I already configure the mysql information exactly in "inter_athena".. But still got this error.. I tried to use other usename, password & database but still same.. Can anyone give me solution please? Thanks in advance..

Aside from the fact that you shouldn't really be using a web host to store your rA database, you probably haven't set permissions.

You need to create a user with permissions to access your DB from your servers IP address. If you're using cPanel, you're fighting a losing battle.
