You can view the manual on how to properly backup with Navicat; though in my personal experience, it took a while to do backups/restorations with Navicat.

Try to dump your sql files.

You can export the file you want to backup in your phpmyadmin

download navicat lite, crate new connection and start using it

then only u will get the database and tables,

and it is dump* not dumb
