I got this error when I first time use this rAthena

Please tell me what did I missed?

I haven't use My SQL yet, because it says that it's optional.

Okay, so you've imported all your MySQL files?

From what I see here - http://puu.sh/BoZB you didn't set up your servers IP up correctly.

From what I found, your MYSQL isn't up to date, and an upgrade should fix it. Let's hope that's the issue.

Just download the new version or i can update it with the one i have installed?

Just download the new one, but if you do that - I think you might have to re-run all the mysql database files.

its because i had my server running fine but it got a big Errol i couldn't handle or fix so i just tried to make a new one and now i cant make a new user D:

Yeah but i can't make a new user in the administrator mysql so i can drop the privillages

Sorry i fixed the port problem it was something in inter_athena but it still says to debug and the sql access denied

It seems to me that your MySQL server isn't running. Are you sure you installed XAMPP?

My initial response was for the original poster cause his error was different from yours which is at the end of page 1...

But for your situation; it's clear that you do not have the correct user/pass combo for the MySQL server. I would recommend that you try to reset the credentials, or make sure you've entered them correctly inside '/conf/inter_athena.conf' and then try again.

on windows7? try uninstalling xampp restart you pc and run the server let's see what will happen...
