Help how to patch the diff/patch file to the rAthena svn

need some help on how to patch or install the diff/patch file properly

and what to do before patching

where to put to make it successful no errors

when i patch my svn get locked

when i patch my svn says error

i use tortoise SVN

i need to know to implement to my server plsss

and Apply patch again

why when i patch i have seen a rejected patch hunk is this normal or bad

usually that's normal I believe, sometimes when rathena gets updated the offsets of where the patches should go are changed. If that happens manually patching those lines would be the best way to do it

im to noob at src patching i dont know what to do last time i patch a src (extended vending system) when it finish i get a rejected patch hunk note then when i recompile my server now keep getting error now i dont know what to do and my time is wasted and im going to do my server from the start since i forgot to backup it i want the src release but im to noob on patching it and keep getting error even if its disccused i use the lastest trunk/rev of rathena and i think the problem is the development of rathena in new src and variables of the codes gets the error i suggest if we stick to the original src codes of rAthena not copy of eAthena or 3CeaM i mean new emu but not to complicated to edit since many codes are change like in the scripts
