Hy, rAthena trunk was I put on GitHub and I will continue to update at least once per day.

Here is the backup.zip to download. You can use it to update manually the Git version with the git svn rebase command and after you change the remote link, you can upload to your own repository.

TortoiseGit - problem solved

I think git is better than svn, so:

+1 for official rAthena GitHub

and for the people who don't want to learn git, we could make a svn mirror

Since most of us only doing checkout and merge anyway is not a big deal learning...

Right now, our development modell, and the way how the repo is organized, we can't utilize the advantages that git offers. However Gepard is working on a new development modell. If it works well, it is possible we will switch to git eventually,

Actually, at my university we'll be doing lectures which will be recorded in HD on how to use both Mercurial and GIT (separate lectures). While the lectures are meant for developers, end users may be able to benefit from them as well. If it'd help people, once we've completed the lectures, the video editing, and put them online, I can post a link to them for anyone who's interested in learning how to use them (they'll likely be on YouTube).
