how to set function by character? instead by account

example =>

set #Novice,1; <= instead per account i want to set func. by character

To make a character variable, you don't need to add any prefix.

Ex.

set Novice, 1; <- This would make the character variable become 1.

as iFoxkun stated above...

set Novice,1; // (no prefix = permanent character variable, no matter what happens the variable will remain)

set @Novice,1; // (@ prefix = temporal character variable, dissapears after relogging or when server's re-started)
