fictionworld's client error questions..

Question

Posted

Hi,

instead of posting new threads, I will put all my questions here if you guys don't mind.

Which file handles this kind of error?

chatbox seems not to registering conversations. Example, when I say hello world, the chatbox must be filled up with playername:hello world. but for me its not registering.

I am thinking of the LUA files again? maybe outdated?

actually putting it to a webhosting better

same as putting it to your server host too

outsider access

just add a index.html that blocks it

example

ro.compatchpatchlist.txt

ro.compatch

i can access patch

just put an index.html inside patch

they can't access it anymore

btw

people don't use patchlist as their patch list

since many people already know that xD

and so people can really access it

Check up chat options ~

Seems legit.

Hit the circle like button in the upper right cornor of your chat box. Check all options you want to be logged. If that won't work try KeiKun's way.

Option Files

ChatWndInfo_U.lua <-- Chat Box Tabs

OptionInfo.lua <-- Options like Volume and other stuffs

UserKeys_s.lua <-- Hotkeys

this 3 isn't located @ grf and must not be located @ grf

since this 3 must be writable

you can't write anything inside a grf since its read-only

so you have to put those 3 still in ROdata
