The IPs are fine in general. 192.168.*.* is the lan ip and 68.54.185.205 the wan ip.

It seems you want to run the server from your local machine, so I'd suggest to make sure all ports (6900, 5121, 6121) get forwarded and are not blocked by your firewall/router/whatever. This is necessary (even if you want to connect from the same machine) because you aim to connect to the server with an external connection.

If you just want to run the server locally (meaning noone else from anywhere except your local network should connect to your server) you could just replace your wan ip with the lan ip and it'll work fine.

Well, I find it strange that you have your client version at 27. Are you sure its 27? (If so, it seems like they are changing fast. owo) I also find it strange that it says eAthena(0), have you not changed the name in your clientinfo? Here is my clientinfo for an example, but my client's date is much older, 2010 07 07.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr" ?>
<clientinfo>
<servicetype>america</servicetype>
<servertype>sakray</servertype>
  <connection>
  <display>AbsintheRO</display>
  <balloon>Click me!</balloon> (Not neccessary, but can be used if you have more than one server, then they hover and see the rates or whatever you want them to see.)
  <address>192.168.0.148</address> (LAN IP, you use your WAN IP for others to connect)
  <port>6900</port>
  <version>25</version>
  <langtype>1</langtype>
  <aid>
	 <admin></admin>
  </aid>
  </connection>
</clientinfo>

Also, your IPs don't really matter, though I still feel uncomfortable about posting IPs, I've kind of realized its rather difficult for anyone to do anything with your IP. Also make sure mmo.h is set to your client date (though its really only neccessary for lua errors, you never know) and that your packet.txt in your db folder is set to default, if its on 23 I think you get connection problems, or at least errors. Also look at your char-server and whatnot to see if there are any errors, or does it just say you disconnected and the amount of players has returned to 0?

Okay okay okay...so even after correctly manually patching in ver 26 it still wont let me get past the server select screen...Here is what I mean;

2rpbrwk.jpg

Even after setting all the IPs back to 127.0.0.1 it still will not let me get past the service select..

Hmmm what about this info??

inter_athena.conf

// Global SQL settings
sql.db_hostname: 127.0.0.1
// MySQL Character SQL server
char_server_ip: 127.0.0.1
// MySQL Map SQL Server
map_server_ip: 127.0.0.1
// MySQL Log SQL Database
log_db_ip: 127.0.0.1
