Hey there!
I really need some help, I have been trying to fix this Problem for hours. My programming skills are still quite noobish, been setting up my Server to play with my friends and especially for styling my RO Characters.

I tried to follow the Installation Guides:

https://kamishi.ragnawork.com/installation-details-700-palette-pack/

, but I am definitely doing something wrong, because it is not working. I also tried to change to other palettes and try them with no effect.

The server itself is a renewal one, but modified to be pre-renewal.

I am using client side: 2020-04-01bRagexe.exe for diffing.

In my DATA.INI I am using the following order of loading GRFs(tried also different variations also with loading palette.grf at first):

The Palette works just fine, but for the 3rd Job Costumes its getting messy:

Also the head for the 3rd Job Mechanic Costume looks terrible:

Thanks in advance for any helping tips!!

Greetings kathi

The head position could be an Lua files issue.

I solved it msyelf. I redid all the suggested steps like it was adviced in the mentioned guides in  my initial post. Back then i wasn't aware that the indices in the DATA.INI File indicates in an descending order which files to override (0 = highest priority, 9 = lowest priority)

https://github.com/rathena/rathena/wiki/DATA.INI

I think i messed up some of my merges. Maybe this helps someone in the future regarding Palette and costumes(i do not have an own grf, just using and editing the data.grf):

CorrectOrderDataINI.JPG.35b3eb5c75b738d33c896eb2b45eaac9.JPG

The Palette for the Costumes needs to be fixed in each act file for every costume. (The Palette in the [TARGETJOBNAME]_1.act) so it works. But thinks get a bit messed up because each Palette file must be existing for the root Job that applies a certain costume with the corresponding color.

@Rynbef Thanks for the clue i will try to locate it and maybe it fixes the issue. I will update here if it did work out 🙂
