How to proceed with compiled Object-Files?

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi folks! =)

I use VS2015 to develop various Projects allready.
- Currently I'm using the Server-Project included in der 2017 offline complete guide. (Thanks again at this point - a really great guide!)
- I installed the 2015 compile tools and switched the target framework from 141 to 140. Compiling gets it's job done, everything fine at this point...

Now I get a great bunch of object-files!?
Since I didn't find a guide to take me by the hand, nor a post with an fitting title - perhaps someone of you would be so nice and post me a link or give me a short overview of whats comming next... =)

did you build the project ? (all of them)

well I just unpacked the server-files (1.emulate..) and used them to run the server. Another copy of the whole bunch of files I copied into my Dev-Project dir and executed the *-14.solution file for visual studio. Next it loaded the 4 different server projects and said that it has no 141 build tools - installed them, compiled the project without changing everything, and expected some kind of files wich i just have to overwrite the original files with... u know ^^
So yes, I compiled all 4 sub-projects... the result are lots of object files in the release folder - and one pdh-file in a very small size...

EDIT:
Yep - one have to know that the builed files are separated intu the right directories -.- ^^
