Please Help!! noob here

first of all thanks for reading my topic

 

i need help and i hope someone can help me..

basically i need help for me to play/run ragnarok offline..

 

i did manage to follow this guide and run it..

 

the only problem is..

i want to make some changes

i want to change the max lvl to 500

i want to have no cast time if dex is 150 

i want to have 195 ASPD MAX

 

i spend time reading all guides and i find how to do all those edit but my problem is i only edit it using notepad..

and i tried and didnt work..

i read i need to recompile etc but thats the problem..

 

i dont know how to recompile or which files i need to edit the files.. i only edit them using notepad..

im running windows 10

 

can someone help me and teach me how to recompile/edit so that if i want to change somethings i can do it..

noob here with no knowledge from c++ or any encoding..

 

i just manage to run the server bcoz i downloaded them as plug and play..

Install Visual Studio (I use 2013) Then open the file rAthena.sln in  the emulator, with visual studio, Then click Build in the menu, and Rebuild solution

Download Notepad++, it's much easier than using the default notepad.

About max level, how about using google or the search function, it's on job_exp.txt under db folder. About the insta-cast 150 dex, its configured by default. Max ASPD is under conf/battle/player.conf. Edit this line "max_aspd: 190" change 190 to your desired value
