GM Command

Anyone can help me for this? I just try #item (Char Name) (ID Name) but the Character I want to give an item, he have spacing to his name. Like this. When I am typing #item Capt General 1542 the command shows no character found :/ For example is Capt General is the name. Help me please? Or does need Capt_General?
