My sprite still attacks with a sword even if it's equipped with another weapon like knife or katar

Hello. My character just became an assassin. However, when I equipped it the katar, the weapon its using is a sword. I was told that the problem is the sprite since I don't have any custom item. Does anybody know how to fix this?

He means: Where did you download your data folder. There's a data folder in .grf too if you have a .grf custom
