I'll cut short to the chase, simply put it, I want to create my own Ragnarok Private Server with the idea of creating custom mobs, custom items and maps.
However I have totally ZERO knowledge of coding, scripting or running a server and my first attempt to get a server running was 12 hours ago via this tutorial online
I have looked around the forums and tried to search for answers but it seems like foreign language to me, now i've downloaded a few things from " http://rathenaguides.blogspot.sg/ "
So far i've downloaded everything stated on the youtube tutorial earlier mentioned and I've met with errors, unable to run the "server" per se even though I followed all the steps as operation was always abnormally terminated.
Through a brief reading in the forum I realized that there are too many kinds of programs out there that isn't compatible with one another and I'm really confused.
Anyways to cut the chase I really need some help, I want to know which client is the most updated one as of 2015 with all the updates and data that the OFFICIAL Ragnarok is running on, and what software do I need to run a fully functional private server with a working game client.
Anyways I could really do with the client at the moment as I really want to make my own Ragnarok World before letting it go live.
Help and advice is greatly appreciate and sorry for the lengthy post.
