Im not sure if im supposed to post this in this section or the DB one so plz move it if need.

I made a robe costume and technically it works but my question is:

Since body and head are different sprites and apparently they do not affect each other beside the fact that one just follow the other around one on the top of the other, robe costumes only affect the body layer, so theres a way to make the robe costume to shows up on the top of the head layer?

For example, a hood costume that coves part of the body AND the head w/o use any of the head costume slots.

Depends mostly of the required field!

Asign the location range for the equip:

you can follow this link for futher information:

https://rathena.org/wiki/Custom_Items

  • Loc: Equipment location of armor and arrow-type items. Values below can be combined, i. e. 136 would indicate both accessory slots (typical value for accessories).

(2^0) 1 = Lower headgear
(2^1) 2 = Right hand
(2^2) 4 = Garment/Robe
(2^3) 8 = Accessory 1
(2^4) 16 = Armor
(2^5) 32 = Left hand
(2^6) 64 = Shoes
(2^7) 128 = Accessory 2
(2^8) 256 = Upper headgear
(2^9) 512 = Middle headgear
(2^10) 1024 = Costume Upper headgear
(2^11) 2048 = Costume Middle headgear
(2^12) 4096 = Costume Lower headgear
(2^13) 8192 = Costume Garment/Robe
(2^15) 32768 = Arrow (arrow-type items only)
(2^16) 65536 = Shadow Armor
(2^17) 131072 = Shadow Weapon
(2^18) 262144 = Shadow Shield
(2^18) 524288 = Shadow Shoes
(2^20) 1048576 = Shadow Accessory 2

(2^21) 2097152 = Shadow Accessory 1

Your ask: theres a way to make the robe costume to shows up on the top of the head layer?

The easiest way, avoiding the task to rename the robe sprite hundred times to cover al jobs, sex and monted sprites you must treat that robe like a headgear.

You can do the following:

1- Take the act and spr file of the robe, and rename it with the proper text ¿©  and ³²

move those to the headgear sprite folder  ¾Ç¼¼»ç¸®

2- Edit the lua files, accname and accessory id, and asign an idview for that item, in order to show up that robe.

3- Treat the robe item id as a headgear, but change the location it may works.

Well i gonna try again but my item was first an headgear and was working fine but then i decided to move it to robe costume slot.

The only way i  found to dont use any of the headgear costume slots was make  all the changes including the hundred"ish" renames in order to make it work but still the head sprite stays in the way.
