  1. Can someone help me with modifying the source to make a custom item bonus that will nullify damages from all magic target skills? It would work like Maya Card's "bMagicDamageReturn,n;" where you can set the chance n to reflect magic damage except it should nullify the damage instead of reflecting. AoE magic skills should still always hit.

    The max level increase seems to be working fine but is there anyway to stop those errors from showing in console?

    As for the ".manner" table, I have no idea what's happening there. I'm running on the latest SVN with a fresh database and this that SQL error shows every time a character logs in game. Can anyone give some insight?

  3. I need help.. I got the sprite from data folder and converted it to bmp and edited Boyfriend Hat and changed the text inside it, but when I try to save it, the choice is only 16 bit, 24 bit and 32 bit.. can anyone help me? because whenever I try to edit the picture, the picture turns red so I copy the image and make a new picture and then paste.. Please help me. I am using Adobe photoshop cs5

    I can't unlock the image..

    change the mode to RGB. should be one of the menu options at the top left of the program.

    Wait... shouldn't he change it to Index Color instead of RGM? Image > Mode > Index color?

    Yeah.. lol that's what I meant, sorry haven't opened CS in a while!

  5. some people are suggesting to scrap ro2 and instead remake ro1 as a 3d game...? that doesn't make sense, ro2 is already serving that purpose.

    also, ro1 is unique because it is one of the best games that is NOT 3d. most people who still play ro1 actually enjoy 2d graphics, which is why they still play it.. and maybe not for you, but many players around the world (especially 3rd world countries) can't even support games that use higher quality graphics, which is why they are forced to play ro1.

  6. i know this may require some src modding, but is it possible to make a script use enforced shared exp and items when a party enters a map? by enforced, i mean to make it even bypass the sharing level range.

    example, if a party has a player of level 99 and a player of level 150, when they enter the map, the party settings will automatically change to even shared exp and even shared items. partylock will be on so it can't be adjusted on the map until they exit.

    i guess what i need is a script command that allows scripts to adjust a party's settings and maybe a mapflag that enables party settings to bypass the sharing level range. or are there other ways to do this? suggestions?

  7. Hey Kenedos, thanks for the response but I think you did the opposite of what I wanted. I mean, the blacklisting will work but it means I have to blacklist almost every single item except for the ones that I want to allow. I think you should make it so that all items are blacklisted unless it is in the array.

  8. What Paulinds pointed out is true. The old command system lets you disable charcommands or set the minimum level.

    With the new system, we are unable to do the same. I suggest implementation of this feature.

    All in all, I'm starting to like this new command system, easy to setup but due to what I mentioned above it restrains me

    to fully like the system.

    agreed, that way no accidents can happen.
