  1. I'm not looking for the easy one (bonus bStr, etc) I'm trying to make items that increase a homunculus and/or pet's stats when it's equipped, unequipping it would then take away the bonus again. (Equipped by the players, not the monster) If possible I'd also like to make items to permanently increase a homunculus' stat points, but I'm not sure how as there is no such thing listed in the item_bonus.txt (The permanent increasers would be usables, not equips) If someone knows how to do this, thanks <3

am also fairly certain .NET Framework has been installed.
  3. Hey there, after being out of the RO business for a while I jumped back in. However the Thor patcher keeps giving an error when I finish patching. (If i delete the generated .dat file it does patch, but afterwards show the error window) Going in-game after patching shows that the patches didn't get applied. I'm gonna spend all of tomorrow thinking of a complicated war system and job ideas (how to get them, how to limit them, etc) If I'm lucky I'll even be able to think of more jobs (mostly for naruto and one piece, bleach is already big x_x) Naturally I'll have to think of jobchange quests, as using a jobmaster would make the mod and separating them from each other pretty useless... So instead of unlimited captains and only 13 with a special item (same goes for vice-captain) you mean to limit the actual class to only 13 characters (in which case there'd have to be a limited of 13 vice-captains, who can then become a captain, allowing new people to be a vice-captain) As for the Kage rank, there would be a limit of 5 (Hokage, Kazekage, Mizukage, Tsuchikage, Raikage) each with 10-15 ANBU, then from those ANBU we may as well limit the ANBU Root class to a few of them. For example: 5 Kage - 50~75 ANBU - 20~30 Root OR 5 Kage - 10~15 ANBU - 3-5 Root Then what about the Bleach classes? They are pretty much limited too. For example, there are 13 captains, 13 vice-captains, 13 1st, 2nd and 3rd seats (1 seat per 'group') The espada however are also limited, to 10. (numbers 0 - 9). Limiting the classes does make it more interesting, for instance, if we limit it to 13 captains, there could 13 classes - one for each captain. If you're lucky enough you may be fast enough to get your favorite as your own class. I didn't really think about the war system I will use yet. For the Naruto mod I think it would be a country vs country (ex. Sand vs Fire) For bleach it would be quite easy, Shinigami vs Hollow And for One Piece it would be Pirate vs Marine. However, what should they gain from it? Pirates would most likely be using a "Bounty" System, the more you win against Marines the higher your bounty gets. Marine would then be using a "Prestige" System, the more you win against Pirates the higher your prestige (could be used for job progression) But I don't know what the benefits would be for the Naruto / Bleach mods..

Project is on hold since I cant seem to find a coder willing to work together on this project, thus I decided to hold it till I start and finish a curses Game Design to get more experience using C, C++ and C# coding. A forum has been made now, visit it here This project will focus on merging popular anime into the RO world. These anime are for example: Naruto Bleach One Piece and many more. Every anime will have their own maps, recreated from the anime. They also get their own classes with their respective skills. I started on this project yesterday so there isn't much done, let alone much to show. It is hard to complete this project on my own (thus me posting this here) since I am not a professional in source code, spriting and mapping.   12. Since this is posted in server support I assume you want the files. In which case I suggest you use sql dbs. I find them a lot easier to edit and add, it's harder to skip/miss a column then it is in the .txt file. to add them to your MySQL just login and open the files: item_db.sql item_db_re.sql item_db2.sql mob_db.sql mob_db2.sql mob_skill_db.sql mob_skill_db2.sql If you don't have those files let me know, I'll upload mine (SVN rev. 15639).

I've posted my router settings, my firewall which uses the respective, default, ports. my conf files which show you my WAN IP (the ipchicken / whatismyip one) My clientinfo which is using my LAN IP, my subnet which uses my Lan, WAN and the default 127.0.0.1. The conf's are set to 127.0.0.1 atm because I've tried both LAN and 127.0.0.1 and both produce the exact same effect. Bump Bumping since the old problem is fixed, and there's a new one (servers hate me...)
  14. My Login server functions perfectly fine, I've updated to the Latest SVN currently available (15639). Although I now can login, once I select the server it should show the character selection screen, but instead of showing up it gives me an "unable to connect" message and logs me off. The Login server correctly shows my connection, no problems. The character server doesn't read the connection, at all, it sees absolutely nothing. Previous topic (solved, my ip changed on me..)
  15. SG_FEEL is the skill image for the Star Gladiator, just find the skill image you'd like to use and place it there, the size is 24x24 pixels. I've never messed with the QUE_NOIMAGE so I'm not sure about that one.

BUMPing with an update. 1) The Thor Patcher now fully works again - Thanks to Aeomin <3 2) After googling around again for a full day and reading and comparing both the eA and rA wiki (and partly the forums too) I thought I had the problem. subnet_athena.conf. It's original entrant being just subnet: 255.0.0.0:127.0.0.1:127.0.0.1 So I looked around for it's layout again, which is SUBNET_MASK:LAN_IP:LAN_IP. which would make it: subnet: 255.255.255.0:192.168.1.66:192.168.1.66 That however still didn't fix it, in fact, nothing changed. So I tried replacing my LAN_IP with my WAN_IP, still to no avail. The Login server still does NOT, AT ALL, see my connection. There are 0 errors on any of the consoles, my clientinfo.xml contains my WAN_IP and all the IPs are configured correctly inside the import folder.

  19. Thank you, but that is already solved. I don't quite remember what I did but I believe mine was caused because I forgot to edit a single line of code. Actually, If I recall correctly (suddenly popped up when writing this lol) it was because I forgot to edit the battle.c for the max_level entry. it got caused by having too high values for the storages + inventory combined.
