Okay I have gone to several different tutorials Checked many many different sources and I am at a loss as to why nothing is working properly in my server.

Let me start with some general information

I am running a renewal server with the latest client. I have been trying to add custom items to the server to add some depth and make it a bit more unique. I followed all of these tutorials

http://rathena.org/wiki/Custom_Items

http://rathena.org/board/topic/83136-adding-custom-items-renewal/

http://rathena.org/board/topic/87858-how-to-add-custom-item-in-2013ragexeexe-client/

Each of them follows the same information and  tried to make it all match. My results are that my client still does not recognize the items to exist when I try to spawn them in. My server recognizes them

1 and 2 are the screens from my databasepost-29881-0-26528200-1416933906_thumb.jpgpost-29881-0-02399000-1416933909_thumb.jpg

*note I know the wings are misclassified as a weapon I already will be fixing that please ignore, just showing that yes they are in the game*

The issue is my clients don't see them.

I have added to the iteminfo.lua the item table sheets in txt and my RO folder uses the data folder in a GRF format

What am I doing wrong I would appreciate any and all help and will provide more screens as needed or anything people need.

Can you please show me the part of your item_db.txt where you've added these custom items?

Pardon me for asking but, have you even added it to item_db.txt? Cause I don't see you doing that based on your screenshots.

I had added them to my itemdb2.txt I was going to say to you, as I had added them to it via my sql, feeling kinda dumb now.

I double checked my itemdb in my trunk files and didnt see them added it and now the eggs show up. Im going to check the wings now...

Okay gota work on my db for the wings and stuff but that fixed it. and rather than just putting solved

When dealing with Myphpadmin and you add an item be sure you add it to your trunk/db/re itemdb.txt and /db/pre-re/itemdb.txt as well as everything else in the tutorials

myphpadmin is where I added my stuff and it wouldn't work. now I understand thank you for your help everyone.

I'm not sure if this will help but try to change the ID# of your custom item lower than your current ID# right now..

I'm guessing the AccessoryID on accessoryid.lub is your problem.

AccessoryID is View ID, not item ID. Have you diffed your client with the Increase Headgear View ID option?

I literally have thousands of headgears, and I'm keeping my View IDs low, now just a bit below 3,000.

Item ID however, 40000 wont have any problem. As rAthena can read up to 65k Item ID.

So yeah to fix your problem, change the View ID from accessoryid.lub to 2000, and start from there for your custom headgears.

Keeping the item ID at 40000, you'll only have to change the ViewID, the last entry before the script part of the item_db.txt;

40000,Angel_Wings,Angel Wings,4,1000,10,50,,1,,1,0xFFFFFFFF,57,2,1,,0,1,2000,{},{},{}

Let us know if the previous answer solved your problem. And create another topic with that new question.

It would help people who would experience the same problem find a solution.

Still not working changing the view  and changing it in my files still solved nothing. post-29881-0-03775900-1416977663_thumb.png

I hope you can all understand my frustration of trying everything and it still not working, be it a headgear or even ANY item I try to add.
