No idea how fix it, but just happen after add the shadows, first time it happens to me.

Those marks just are visible in the game.

I use Browedit version 586 and 620 (With both version, I still get same problem, I would like to know how can I fix that?

Sorry by the -necropost- but I had the exact issue in one map just today. And since I was able to solve it (and I believe this is the first time someone report one issue in maps as this) I wanted to share the fix to it:

- This issue happens if your map has a base floor texture with a lot of -white present-

My map was a 50x50 map, with the same dots. To fix it, I only copied the whole map to a bigger map (to a x200 map) and suddenly, this was fixed. I hope this will be useful for anybody who encounters with this particular issue.

Interesting. Try

1. Generate -> Quadtree

2. Save Map

3. Calculate Lightmaps

4. See results

Note: I recommend using r586 and staying with it

I did that already and still are present, the thing is something you do not see while the map is open with browedit, are just visible once inside the game. And I'm still wondering what I did wrong for get that kind of marks.

Hmm. Not sure. I've seen something similar to this but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure but I had a similar issue one day with a map, years ago :P

1 - Try: Generate Lightmaps without shadows, and test in game.

If the marks are removed then:

2- Try: fill all the 'yellow' colored areas (that means empty areas) in browedit with a black texture, and calculate lightmaps with shadows.

If it doesnt work, maybe you can upload your map, or a small area of it. (assuming you cant upload it full maybe cause it is for a private use) So me or Syouji can check it out and do our own tests to fix it.

Edit. Oh yes I remember now. I had this issue quite a while :P
