Bypass UAC

Hi All,

I've seen in a lot of threads people having an issue with windows's UAC (user account control). I've found a solution that I'm using for my server. And since new player were not complaining about it anymore.

 

Just replace the paths in this file, in order to point your game launcher :

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers]
"C:\\RO\\Launcher.exe"="~ RUNASADMIN"
"C:\\RO\\SublimeRo.exe"="~ RUNASADMIN"
"C:\\RO\\config.exe"="~ RUNASADMIN"

Name it to watever you want ex.: myserver.reg

Players will be able to double click on the myserver.reg to make your client.exe always runing as administator.

Or simply right click -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run as administrator.

 

Still, the UAC will ask for permission.
