Sprite problem (Headgears)

Here's the story: I used @item then I got an Odin Mask, after wearing it a sprite error occurred. Now I cannot open my character because of that. Question: Where can I get the Sprite files? Thanks!

Try updating your kRO files. Odin mask is pretty old and should be included in the newer versions. You should also try to check your DATA.ini if it's reading your grfs properly.

I always try to update my kRO files (everyday) using 2012-04-15-rsu-kro-rag-lite & 2012-04-15-rsu-kro-renewal-lite but it always fails during 51% percent of the patch. Failed to retrieve 2013-12-23 something. I already searched the internet how to fix this but nothing came up. Here's my data.ini:

2=data.grf

try including the other GRFs in your data.ini there should be more than two if youre using the latest kRO, but remember to add them behind data.grf so it wouldn't override the main grfs that should be read.

 

ex.

1=rdata.grf
2=data.grf
3=ydata.grf
4=xdata.grf

 

as for your patching, your RO clients should be closed, and you might wanna check if you still have disk space left on your hard drive

I downloaded my files from ratemyserver.net and it only provides for two .grf files, namely data.grf and rdata.grf. I have enough disk space in my hard drive, about 175 G more. In my original data.ini, it only contained 1 grf file (2=data.grf) I only included the rdata.grf when it came to my attention.

You might wanna get a torrent of a full kRO/iRO file. Or, you can manually add them by configuring the item tables in data folder, but first, you need to search for the sprites in your GRF if they exist, you might wanna go to texture folder first so you can easily search their sprite names, or check out RMS' sprite bible
