Ok so I just noticed that I got a problem with my body palettes.

When I first implemented my palletes, each class had it's own set of palettes.
eg: Lord knight had it's own palettes, and Knight had it's own palettes.

I was jus playing around with palettes right now and I noticed that something is wrong with how my palettes looked. I found out that they are being shared again.
eg: lord knight and knight are sharing again.

I thought it was my client doing this and I tested out with my old client (what i used when these palettes were first made) and the same problem.

I don't understand what's causing this. If it's a client side issue or server side. I don't even understand how all of a sudden they started sharing again :S Please help!

There is a diff at the time you diff a client that has to do with that. I remember it was "[add] Use shared palettes"

But isn't that diff for sharing one set of palettes with all classes?

I never used that option when diffing my client.

EDIT

ok so I figured out what happened. It was my clientinfo.xml.

I had my langtype set to 0 when I was testing my palettes.

But because of this Issue : http://rathena.org/board/topic/84693-remove-h-auto-displaying/

I changed my langtype to 1.

Now I need to figure out the correct langtype to use. I don't want that stupid help menu displaying every time I login with langtype 0 and I dont want my palettes messed up with langtype 1. Any advice?

Well, if I'm not mistaken (please correct me if I am, it's been a while) palette files are located within your GRF. Has anything changed within your GRF since the last time you tested it?

Yes the palettes are in my data folder.

My client read the data folder first. I diffed it to read the data first.

When I first tested out the palettes I used 2012-04-10 Client. Currently I am using 2012-05-15aRagexeRE.

Now  I don't remember If i tested out the palettes with my current client.

But I even tried with my older exe, and the same problem. I didn't change anything in the data folder except for the packet version in the clientinfo.txt.
