Mr BrycE Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Hello, is there a way to prohibit the .exe to run by itself and must go through patcher first? Quote
Byakuran Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 you can change the extension of your client from exe to dll. Quote
Mr BrycE Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 may i ask how will that exactly work? Quote
Mr BrycE Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 nope i'm still trying to figure out how to do that. and hoping that it's possible. Quote
chriser Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 i think what he means it that you could rename the ro.exe to ro.dll, and in the patcher conf (where you can set which file to start when clicking play) set to open ro.dll Quote
Mr BrycE Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 already did that. the client is not opening Quote
chriser Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 uhm, what you could do: patch your client that the client needs the -1sak1 option (or something similar, don't know exactly what its called) maybe you can also define your own option then configure your patcher to start your ro client with the -1sak1 option (or if you could select a custom, then that one). Now, the ro client only starts when the exe got run with the -1sak1 option, and user who dont know that have to run the patcher to open the ro.exe Quote
Mr BrycE Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 now.. i didn't try it with -1sak1 thing, ill make sure i edit this post after doing what you said. Quote
