[RESOLVED]: Solution - Alternative Mapcache Recompile using WeeMapCache

[PROBLEM I HAD]:

(I've searched for solutions extensively & here's a similar issue to my own.)

http://rathena.org/board/topic/61531-resolved-browedit-help-about-walking/

Okay so it seems that this is a semi-known issue and it is driving me into madness not being able to determine what to do, I am having the issue of once I complete a map and add it in the proper locations and attempt to explore the map in-game I am experiencing what I would call "Walkable / Clicking Gat Delays / Errors" this seems to be localized to only a specific quadrant of the map where one small portion of the map is walkable with "few" "lagging" clicks and the other quadrants are completely unreachable / walkable.

Steps I have taken;

- Working + Setup Copy of Brow Edit Revision 586

- Opened a Map from GRF (Gravity Maps, tested multiple)

- Cleared the Map of all Textures, Walls, Effects etc.

- Changed the Water height to [ -20 ](Water Edit)

- Changed (Global Height Value) to be above Water Level.

- Added some Textures to the map (non-customized)

- Added some Objects to the map (non-customized)

- Made sure the Objects were at the correct Height

- Added some Lights to the map

- Calculated Lightmaps

- File -> Save -> Close Brow Edit

- Recompiled Mapcache (successfully)

If this is not the proper procedure for opening / saving / editing maps any help or further information would be greatly appreciated.

As a side note, I am not sure if this is directly related to resolving my issue but I have not yet attempted to resolve the clipping issue.

Yes, mapcache was recompiled , I forgot to list that in my procedure. Thank you suyothegreat for pointing that out.

Post Updated-

Was using old mapcache recompile method and it was not correctly reading my .gats

[RESOLVED]

So I am not sure why it was doing this but I believe my mapcache was somehow corrupted, it showed sucessful addition of my custom maps, and "already in cache after it was ran again however the .gat files were not being correctly read. I believe I need to rebuild my solution (recompile) to fix the map cache but I digress. To fix this I used the Alternative Method of using "WeeMapCache" and it loaded my .gat files correctly!!

I highly suggest Shin's WeeMapCache to anyone, it works very well. I had yet to try it until now.
