Servers online, but how to connect

Hi, i just rent a VPS to AsuraHosting, i followed videos on net to makes it online, and it seems to works pretty well. But now i got a problem, i want to connect to the server.

ive looked up on net to see what to do but all what i did failed.. so if someone could give me some tips , to be able to connect on the server would be awsome !

(ive tried to make a data folder with a sclientinfo.xml , in the past i was doing this.. but long time ago so.. it didnt work)

check your clientinfo be sure you have the right ip

but can you tell me in order, because i downloaded official Kro , then do i grab any data ? and put my ip in the clientinfo (i know my version is 20)?

(also do i need to edit GRF-file.txt in conf folder?)

official kRO + your diffed RagexeRE client + correct clientinfo.xml

 

if you use 2012-04-18aRagexeRE, open src/map/mmo.h #PACKETVER 20120418 -> recompile your server.

then, change version on your clientinfo.xml becomes 31 also change packet_db_ver on db/packet_db.txt to 31.
