i just happened to read this on eamod forums.

This topic is reserved to report servers under investigation if they own a eAmod license or they are using a pirated version.

If I confirm a server here without a license, I will attack it with a collection of tools to crash it or affect their bandwidth. But I am open to negotiation always if they want to solve their pirate status.

Also I invite others costumers and Game Masters to insist in their forums about confirmation of eAmod license.

I don't know if the developer(s) of eAmod has built in some backdoors for him to get to your server but if he has then this would be without doubt possible.

but how can he do tht?? 1st of all he is selling sm thing which should b for free n then those who have free copies he threatens to hack it that isnt fair!!

i'm all for people wanting to protect their work, and normally i don't comment on this type of stuff much, but threatening to ddos people that pirate it? laff

 

if i ever get my hands on an updated copy i'd take out the backdoors myself.. because fuck that kind of attitude tbh.

I got a copy of EAMOD pirate, and told the administrators using their forums it was pirated and gave them my website and RO name, but they didn't do anything.

They responded very nicely..

All talk.. No action.
