Install Error by Xantara FluxCP SVN 1162

 i use this FluxCP SVN http://fluxcp-ra.googlecode.com/svn/trunk. Yesterday make Xantara a new Version 1162,1163 and i try to  install / update my FluxCP. After the Install / Update Screen there were only a Error Message that i should contact a admin .

I think there's a problem with update / deleted  the MySQL databases. Have anybody the same problems ?

wich version  prefer the most and is there any significant different between Calciumkid and Xantara's Version ?

Hi,

 

Please set $showExceptions in config/errors.php to true then revisit the page. Please post the error. I'll fix it ASAP. And yes, there are differences between mine and CK's.

Perhaps the problem is similar to the one in this topic. That is,
 

Make sure you have all the files and their contents in fluxcp/data/schemas/charmapdb/ and fluxcp/data/schemas/logindb/. In this case, the files were in the directories but had nothing in them (perhaps from a bad upload). If you don't have them, just pull/checkout the files again or re-upload (and replace) them.

 

 

Let me know if that does not solve your problem.

 

I tested it on my host earlier and it installed successfully.

Do you have this tested with a clear  MySQL Database ?  Otherwise you got the following error.message.

I think you must use "Drop Table if exist " or "Alter Table" instead of "Create Table"

Your SVN 1161 works for me. Only if i try to update to SVN 1163 then i have this error

You are supposed to have a clean database when installing (ie. no cp_* tables). It is a linear transition so there should not be a drop table command unless a total redesign is needed. But this hasn't been the case for any cp table.

 

Did you have FluxCP implemented before and you are updating it now? Is that why you have cp_* tables already in your database?

1. yes i have FluxCP implemented before i try to update

2. i delete all the cp-* Tables and try to update again and got the same error

3. i don't know why SVN 1162 not will install and SVN 1161 install with no error's. SVN: http://fluxcp-ra.googlecode.com/svn/trunk

I think i should add future update manually
