Question

Hello
I have a problem with thor, once the patch files are downloaded nothing is being applied.
So when I tried to update the .exe files, the patch files are getting downloaded but not replacing the target files, and when I add a new grf file nothing happens.
What could have went wrong?
Thanks in advance

two things firstly ..

use the thor maker from same 7z or same version of which u used the config packer.

Second ....thor patcher must have admin rights and the exe MUST not be ready only flagged.

lastly u must not patch the whole grf files in patcher....just put a grf name in the 2nd box in thor maker after the patch name box. the patcher would creater a grf by that name.

hope it helped

Hey hemagx,

I ran into a similar issue a while back and resolved it by using an older version of ThorGenerator. The one I attached is from 2009 but has (generally) the same functionality and interface as the most recent version. Also, if you're compressing directories that have gibberish text ( ex: data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º ), make sure you have your selection switched to ASCII, not Unicode. Hope this helps. d:
