The problem probably has something to do with the custom map itself if you've done everything correctly.

I'm no expert when it comes to map stuff but I believe night mode has something to do with the actual creation of the map in addition to server side stuff.

So you mean that will be depends on how i put the map?

Or oits depends on that map how it looks like?

The map i took is zhakastia i use the original file from it

And i think it can be maintain the nightmode itself

Via script or map ETC. i already done alot of thing

Even i put mapflag nightenable doesnt works

hmm.. there is an existing map flag, i don't know if this is going to work, but you should try it..

mapflag night

what it does is it "allows" night mode in the map.. so i think, without this, you won't be able to enable night mode on any map without this.

no, I think he means, he wants his custom map to maintain night mode, while all other maps unaffected by night*

hmmm.. i remember i have posted a topic that might have something to do with this..

try going to:

Go to: conf/mapflag

then

Go to: night.txt

then add your map there and mapflag (or just copy the format that is in there).

see if it works.

@stydianx - No, that won't work either. That's basically the same thing as setting the night mapflag on a map... it only allows the server to turn it into night time.

@OP - The only way to get what you want, is by:

1. Simulating the effect using BrowEdit to change the lighting to "appear" always night time. (As AnnieRuru already suggested).

OR

2. SRC edit, to create a custom command, to force your map into either Day/Night mode, without effecting other maps. (Also already Suggested by AnnieRuru).

If you were able to successfully apply the patch to your server for, the src edit, then you'll issue should be solved, as it has the ability to turn your "single" map, into night time. And it won't turn back into day time, unless it's apart of your servers night.txt file (Which by default it is not apart of since it's a custom map).

option number 2 seems to be the fastest way.. go for it dude!
