Is it possible like if I use @night command then my light effects would turn on? or is there any other way that I could toggle night and day map?

Well I have an effects already set and it looks good only at night time yet it sometimes feel sleepy so I want to turn it on and off in-game, How?

Impossible because all lights information are stocked in the *.gnd in the client side. You can create two maps one day / one night but complicated to transfer people / mobs. The only way is a mapflag night for set night only in one map.

Yes, but you can't disactivate those effects. A mapflag night was just an idea for avoid the day / night cycle for a specific map, then you won't have day cycle for this map.
