Hello, i just get my linux root today and i installed the OS: Debian 5.0 (Lenny) - 32 bit - minimal.

so. i tried to follow this guide:

Installation_(Debian)

First step:

apt-get install subversion make gcc libmysqlclient-dev zlib1g-dev libpcre3-dev

i just got this error:

thats what putty says.. whats wrong there?

Hi Nokia,

Debian 5 (Lenny) is EOL; the repo's for the aptitude are no longer working. You must install Debian 6 (Squeeze) or Debian 7 (Wheezy). EOL is 'end of life'.
