HOW CAN I CHANGE THE LEVEL REQUIREMENT OF AN ITEM?

Hi our beloved community, I'm just a simple fellow that plays ragnarok on my past time. I love this game so much but I have lots of i don't know things. hehe. Like what my topic-question. I just want to know how to change the level requirement of my item: FLYING GALAPAGO that requires the character at base level 110 in order to equip.

If you want to change the item description in game . You can change it inside your client files . Find System info . But if you want to change it also on server side do it on item_db

To change the item level requirements you need to add new line for:

Quote

EquipLevelMin           Minimum required level to equip. (Default: 0)
EquipLevelMax           Maximum level that can equip. (Default: 0)

If there's an existing line for that just change the value based on what you want to do.

 

And yes don't forget to change the iteminfo as well inside the System folder to match your changes.

Its server side . Go to your item db in server side find the item name or id change the value of required level

I did. But I can't still equip the item. Can you show me how its done step-by-step?

You just need to change the requirement . I think rAthena already use yaml . The last time i see the item_db is the time when yaml format is introduce . The item_db in server side is now more informative than before and its more user friendly .
