How do i disable or change braggi sound effect?

i tried the following but default sound effect still plays out
A - modifying the bragis_poem.wav (used heal skill sound effect) file under data/wav on data.grf 
B - deleted above file
C - added bragis_poem.wav (edited version) on same folder on another GRF
