I've recently started using rAthena again after not using it for 10 years-ish. I've got a global NPC script that loads on a particular map, and I want it to set the player's opacity to 50%. I've achieved this effect with an item a long time ago but don't remember how I did it. I've read through the docs and can only see specialeffects that can apply to the NPC itself.

Does anyone know if this can be done?

There are some @effect which makes the player semi transparent, some with colors, some don't.

You could do that and apply @effect on a player
