What kind of NPCs are implemented in the base source code?

Hello everyone,

I used to play Ragnarok Online when I was younger but never really paid attention to the quests and NPCs.

I saw that the rAthena source code on GitHub has scripts related to NPCs and their quests/dialogues.

Are all NPCs from official Ragnarok Online servers implemented? If not, which NPCs aren't implemented?

I think I only played till episode 12 back then.

How does rAthena handle the different episodes? Like, say, letting people choose maps and NPCs from different episodes. I imagine some people might like to see morroc in ruins, while others would rather it be in one piece.

Also, how did the existing implemented NPCs come to be? Manual data entry by contributors playing the game and transcribing every quest and dialogue as they see it? Some tool? A mix?
