Increasing Chat Range Distance

Hello! I'm trying to figure out how I can increase view distance on chat messages. The server I'm on would greatly benefit from a much larger chat range than we have-- IE one player standing in X spot should be able to hear a player in Y Spot fairly far away. Is there a way to increase this further?

// Visible area size (how many squares away from a player they can see)
area_size: 14

you can try increase this, you should be able to view the message

however, if your server AOE skills range are calculated based on this setting above, then you probably have issue with these AOE skills hitting a wider range.
