Maximizing the usage of import folder

Hi There! i am trying to get this thing work -> https://github.com/rathena/rathena/blob/master/conf/battle_athena.conf

as for my understanding i created a new import folder inside battle folder let's say i want to edit stuffs inside feature.conf so i created a new text file name feature_conf and put some values in there. i also did a recompile but nothing happens any tricks how to get this thing work?

Actually on the same boat. Whenever I make changes on the import folder nothing happens... Had to go back to editing the files as before.
