Hello,

I've been digging around the forums for a few hours, tried using the search as well, but I haven't found a concise guide to setting up a client to connect to a server.

I successfully setup a private rAthena server on a VPS, but I don't know how I should install the client to connect to it. Can someone point me to a thread/guide that describes how to do this?

I have the full kRO client downloaded, but I just don't know what to do with it.

Thanks in advance.

There are 20+ guides on client setup - the more relevant guides are in https://rathena.org/board/forum/99-client-releases/

Hi! It took me quite a while, but I started with the Offline setup guide, and modified some of the conf/import IPs to get my hosted server public and connectable. Thanks for the pointer!

There were definitely some confusing spots here and there.

Now the long game of configuring the server to my liking begins!
