rAthena still support lower client version

Goodday,

 

I'm setting up server from 20120307 client but I got error when creating a character; it disconnect and server error output parse packet 0x05.. I set up the packetver and packetdb.txt to match the client version.  

 

does the rA still work from the lower client version?

Probably u enable the packet obusfucation.

Check:

src/common/mmo.h

db/packet_db.txt

data/clientinfo.xml

I think if you set them correctly theres nothing problem.

And also rAthena still can support 2011 client and 2010.

I didn't see the error on my server, but I think I experienced that one. I can only remember the error the client returned. It says "Rejected from server (13)".
