i can connect to server with own pc... other pc can't go to character selection screen...

well . i have been try so many times.....

 

1> i already port forwarding those 6900,6121,5121 

2> char athena , map athena done config.

3> subnet athena i input everything...........

                                                        subnet: 255.0.0.0:127.0.0.1:127.0.0.1

                                                        subnet: 255.255.255.0:192.168.0.100:192.168.0.100
                                                        subnet: 255.255.255.0:wan ip:wan ip
                                                        subnet: 255.0.0.0:192.168.0.100:192.168.0.100
                                                        subnet: 255.0.0.0:wan ip:wan ip
                                                        subnet: 192.168.1.0/255.0.0.0:192.168.0.100:192.168.0.100
                                                        subnet: 192.168.1.0/255.0.0.0:wan ip:wan ip
                                                        subnet: 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0:192.168.0.100:192.168.0.100
                                                        subnet: 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0:wan ip:wan ip
3> lan ip client info for myself , wan ip client for other pc..
 
Still other pc can't connect to my server... failed connection after server selection screen......
 
anyone please give some advice... photo provided as below.......

i not too sure about my port of 6900,5121,6121 is opened or not available...

is that my port is available?.. if really not turning on , my friend should not even can login until server selection...

I think the problem is your ip

You have to configure your char, map, athena and subnet with your wan ip too

Know you can't connect with your lan ip...

Next check your Firewall do you have open the ports

Another method is try it with hamachi Hamachi

Edit.:

Do you have read data folder?

No.: then don't forget to change the clientinfo in your custom.grf

                    Thanks for your response, Sorry for the late reply... about the problem you mention about, i think i should expose everything so that everyone can understand better... here is my detail...

 

 

1 > HERE IS HOW I SET MY PORT FORWARD

                   After bunch of these setting... my problem haven't solved yet... other still cant login to my server... only after SERVER SELECTION part... Failed to connect before CHARACTER SELECTION... (Ofcourse  i can connect on my own pc with lan ip)

 

6> OTHER PLAYER CONNECTION..FAILED AFTER SERVER SELECTION....

                   I wish to have a solution in this kind of situation.... hope that anyone that familiar with this problem teach me how to fix it... THANKS.

Can you send you conf's pls

In the cmd's i see a 127.0.0.1 and that is a local ip you have to change it

Tommorow i am at home then i will test ist on my server

Okey i think i have your problem

Char.conf.: login ip change to your wanip

Inter.conf.: histname, char-server, map-server and log-dp ip's to your wan ip

Map.conf.: char ip to your wan ip

Subnet.conf.: you can delet the first and secons the third must be correct

I think that must be solve your problem

Ok try your local ip in inter.conf

Sry i can check the settings tommorow

But to get your server online you must use your wanip in char, map, and subnet.conf everywhere you have to change

hi

 

i have read an older post about wan ip and it's a bigger problem

 

at first the configs from you are correct only in subnet there you need only one row

 

next check your ports here pls

 

edit:

 

it's not easy to configure a server with wan ip cause the ports are blocked from anti virus, router or your provider

 

when you want to play with your friend's pls try this program hamachi

There are certain map which have a problem like the following photo......

FOR EXAMPLE : ABYSS LAKE 3 / CURSED ABBEY 2 

 

both of the map having the same problem as fatal error when i TRY TO GO NORTH OF THE MAP . IT WILL CRASH! ,

 

as long i prevent going NORTH of those map, CRASH / FATAL ERROR won't happen...

 

please someone guide me and help fix my problem... thanks!!
