nakano15 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I have some questions about the OnTouch: parameter on the npc scripting. Is there any way of avoiding monsters of triggering it? If the npc moves location by using either walk to or teleport, the areas of ontouch will change aswell? These questions are troubling me. Quote
Haziel Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 1. Usually NPCs do not trigger it.2. Yes. Quote

Azura Skyy Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Thanks, that helped, I just wish there were a way of making so the touch area is a square around the npc... It is a square? Do you mean OnTouch to merely occupy the cell the npc is on, or? What area are you looking to cover? Regards, ~AzuraSkyy Quote
nakano15 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) For my npc to work as intended, I would need to make so the npc touch area is an square around the npc. like squared dimensions -3,-3,3,3. Edited October 27, 2015 by nakano15 Quote
Haziel Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 It IS a square, if you set it to ,3,3 it will be 3 cells in any direction. Quote
nakano15 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Hum, good to know. I thought it would make a line in front of the npc direction instead. Quote
