I really wish I wouldn't need to disturb any of you for this, but I'm kinda lost at the moment.
So, I'm trying to install a server so we can test a lot of things with friends (adding skills, modifying cards, stuff...).
I read the rAthena wiki, mounted the server, configured it along with the db and it seems to work all fine, my current issue is that I have no idea on how to make the client communicate with the server. Or to make so that the client is linked to the server, I don't really know how to put it but you probably get it (at least, I hope so).
I read things about Diffx and Grfs on outdated guides on the internet but I don't really know where it will lead me to just do this without understanding what's happening.
I would be really glad if someone could give me a link to how to handle the client (as I said, I couldn't find a clear guide on the wiki, but I might be mistaken) or just explain me here or by pm.
tl;dr :
my server's configured, db as well. I don't know how to get the client "linked" to the server.
