Launcher & Windows 8

Is there anyway to fixed this kind of error about launching the launcher on windows 8 OS. The thing is after we copied this ro and placed it to my laptop [ windows 8 os ] and run it, the launcher seems like didn't run at all. We checked the task manager if it is on the Processes but surprisingly we didn't find it there. Anything that might help this issue will be pretty much appriciated. Thanks in advance....

Have you tried run as administrator? And turning off your anti-virus?

We tried those but still nothing happened

U try to run it under win xp compatibility?

yep we tried that and vista compatibility also
