If it's not an edit, RebirthRO is a fairly large server, i doubt they edited a free release map. Never know though, It could be.

My suggestion, Install Browedit, And begin learning / Editing! i'm not very good at it myself, But its extremely fun!

 

Never was big at editing myself lol more of a RO player! LMAO but seriously i never learned how to browedit so it'll take me a lot of time to get it how i want the map to be but thanks for the suggestion

Have you actually downloaded and tested the linked prontera? The screenshots of the link could be taken during Night ingame which results in a darker color

So i got a headgear that i created as a custom i would like to make it look like the Cap headgear but have the name of Dyna Hat.

Right now it looks like this:

How i want it to look: With the picture of a normal Cap, I right clicked on the image i will want it to show when i right click the Dyna Upper headgear:

Really simple just read the Topic so what i'm requesting here today is a Headgear Idk the real name back in the day 4 years ago in a server called RebelRO they used to have it and i really like that Headgear so basically what it is its a Headgear that you can change to any type of style you want without having to actually change your headgear i'll explain.

 

Ex. Lets say i have on Dyna hat upper  Basically what would happen is if I whisper NPC:Dyna and say (for example) upper#5381 it will change my characters upper dyna to look like headgear 5381 but i will still be wearing the Dyna hat.

So what i'm basically asking for is a headgear disguise lol

Thats just a global whisper system with a check if they're wearing the headgear

tried using search and found a lot of quests with item preview but i dont want a quest just a simple NPC click it it asks for the item ID you enter it it shows the item (It does not give the item).

where did i get the idea? Want something like this that they can see the hats but not get them

do you have teamviewer? i can help you better once i see what the situation of your data folder is exactly. because it looks like you have done everything properly so you shouldn't be getting errors.

Here's my suggestion to ur problem

 

First, verify your client if it reads lua files or lub.

 

1.Check the name of the data/texture/À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º/"my_item.bmp" is the same name you put in idnum2itemresnametable.txt (example 1: 19524#my_item#) in addition the data/texture/À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º/collection/"myitem.bmp" should have the same name also.

 

2.Check the drop sprite. The name of the drop sprite should be the same name with the item.(example 2: my_item.spr)

 

3. Check your accessoryid.lua and accname.lua located at data\luafiles514\lua files\datainfo. the item view that you'll have to put in your item_db.txt( 19524,My_Item,My Item,5,20,,0,,10,,1,0xFFFFFFFE,11,2,256,,20,1,"1005"<---this one, },{},{}) should be found in ur accessoryid.lua and accname.lua.

    example 3: 

accessoryid.lua

    ACCESSORY_MY_ITEM = 1005

 

accname.lua

    [ACCESSORY_IDs.ACCESSORY_MY_ITEM] = "_My_Item"

Yeah i know and i have read that about 100 times but idk what i keep doing wrong because always get a lua error

I believe i added it the viewID to 30000

Now i downloaded the lua and i recompiled GRF and i can see KRO headgears on but not the customs and i didnt add the customs the the accessoryid before i recompiled the grf thought

I believe is something with the lua files because i just maid a custom armor and it works perfectly fine and i can view my alt+q without error.
